The Bus Shelter Dorset works closely with local agencies to provide safe accommodation and support for rough sleepers. If you or someone you know needs our services, we’re here to help.
We accept referrals from organizations such as Dorset Council, The Lantern Trust, and Julian House. On average, we receive five referrals a week, and each referral is carefully assessed before being placed on our waiting list.
Once a guest is accepted into our program, they’ll be given a safe space to stay, along with holistic support tailored to their needs. From mental health assistance to help with addiction, our trauma-informed approach ensures that every individual has the opportunity to move forward.
