Founded in 2016, The Bus Shelter Dorset is dedicated to helping individuals in need of shelter and support in Weymouth and surrounding areas. Our ethos is to provide unconditional and non-judgmental support to those experiencing homelessness, allowing them to rebuild their lives in a safe and caring environment.

The Bus Stop offers rough sleepers or those at risk of homelessness access to a supportive community environment with 24 hour high support tailored to meet their individual needs. The support we offer is unique and we have created a family environment where it is not judgmental and second chances are always offered.
Our Next Stop move-on accommodation supports guests to transition confidently into independent living, while our five new micro flats (launched April 2025) offer private space with onsite support.
We go beyond shelter—offering holistic support for mental health, addiction, and life skills—because everyone deserves more than a roof over their head.
